If you are reading this article, you have arrived at your 21st Century Solution
for Network Marketing. This item is Part 1 out of 8 articles
and videos formulated to significantly change your business.
The New Era of Network Marketing
At present, in the age of mass information people are constantly getting spammed to
new businesses and opportunities. This occurs so often that people protect themselves from all of it (e.g.pop-up blockers, spyware, adware, antivirus).
In the 21st Century there has never been access to more opportunity;
however, people have never had to be so cautious. So a person might ask, HOW
do you get through this large barrier to find people interested in your opportunity?
The answer is uncomplicated: “Branding Yourself.”
Why is the “old way” is a Thing of The Past
Before we discuss branding it is vital to understand 98% of people
getting started in Network Marketing start off by creating ridiculous lists of friends
and family to enroll their business. There are two majors reasons this method is doomed for failure:
1) Calling friends and family to enter your business opportunity is NOT marketing
2) When you run dry on friends and family…you are OUT OF BUSINESS.
Most people get involved in Network Marketing in order to bring financial
prosperity TO their family. Loved ones are NOT looking for a new
business opportunity, and they do not have the same DRIVE that most
entrepreneurs possess–so it will go under eventually. As a matter of fact,
most companies will not train their distributors (or marketing executives)
that after 1 year, only 15% of those that join are still in the business.
So, let’s say you do elect to risk, using friends and family to build your business. When you run dry of loved ones, you are essentially out of business. Until you go out, hunting like a lunatic, looking for new prospects. People are weary of being SOLD, so you sadly will wasting literally 95% of your hard work. It is demoralizing and it wastes money.
The Solution: Turn into the HUNTED, not the HUNTER!
21st Century Concept- You, Inc.
You must be aware of that just because you are in a Network Marketing Company does NOT equate that you are a business owner. Consider these 3 facts:
1) You don’t own the Products- The Company does.
2) You don’t own the Company- Clearly.
3) You don’t own your Downline- The Company can rub you out at ANY TIME, and your efforts stays with the Company.
The STRATEGY is to promote yourself. So that if your company “goes under” (as many have, and can) you will still have your list of prospects and can take them with you no matter where you decide to move. To achieve this, you will have to take this principle to heart: People Join People-NOT Business Opportunities. People are social creatures and these two business attraction concepts will bring you to the top of the industry:
1) You MUST have value to offer your target market (without trying to sell them anything)
2) You MUST have a SYSTEM they can literally jump into that replicates: Marketing, advertising, and Training.
Your Branding Home- www.’You’.com
The BEST way to promote yourself in a way that makes you stand out on Google (and respected by prospects) is creating your OWN blog. NOT a free blog such as blogger, but “You.com.” Google gives preference blogs because they give information on niche-specific subjects that best serves its users.
Steps to make your OWN blog:
1) Get a Domain. (You.com)
2) Get it Wordpress Hosted.
3) Get it Setup and Learn How to Make it Your OWN.
What to Blog About
Create VALUABLE content that your people are looking for, and NOT what you want them to. Think: People who are shopping for axes ACTUALLY want to get rid of a tree. Give value before you pitch. We will discuss this in larger detail in Day #2 of the 21st Century marketing Bootcamp. GO FOR IT RIGHT NOW, my friend.
