I am wondering if anyone out there has any leads on data entry jobs that can be performed from home with NO start up cost? I have found a few at home jobs, but they are telemarketing and sales. Is there anything out there involving Data Entry other than Medical billing?
Thanks so much to all of you for your time :0)

Your best chances may be to contact small businesses in your immediate area and also run a small ad in something like American Classifdieds offering office help without the overhead of an office. Set your rates about the same or a little less than what companies are advertising they pay for this work done in their office or on a per job basis. Target independent heat and air companies and other home service professionals who are working from home, independent insurance reps, any other businesses which work from their car, their truck or their home. Also let bigger companies know you are available for overflow work. Make your price an introductory special quoting your regular price as just a shade higher than averags data entry in office job pays. and letting customers know that this spares them the cost of office, computers, employee benefits, matching social security, etc. as well as protecting them somewhat in some FACTA situiations (the new laws re customer data). The reason for the initiallower price is to grab the customer and get them to try you. The reason for making it a special intro price is so that when you are ready to raise price there are not hard feelings for your regular customers and even if you choose not to raise the price to the reglars you can sytill charge more for new business w/o their being able to say but you only charges John so and so. Encourage and reward your customers for giving you referrals by giving free or discounted servuces. PPL in these businesses know others in the business and otehr indep business ppl. We built a very successful marketing business this way and the same could be done for any business service. after ayr 50% of our business was referrals from satisfied customers and after 3 yrs 75% new business came that way.

Don’t forget your home buisiness tax deductions they really help your bottom line.

I was wondering if any one on here does telemarketing for their company and how do you handle the do not call registry. Reason why I ask is I plan on subscribing to salesgenie.com for sales leads and I plan on cold calling people so I can increase my business. I was wondering how does the do not call registry affect me and how can I make this work.
Please give me some advice.

Thank you guys in advance.

Sales Genie filters people on the do not call list. I have used it for a long time and had no problem.
